Our center will accept interns to be assigned for 20 working days between 24 July - 18 August 2023.
Those who want to work as interns at our center are expected to
- Be sensitive to gender equality and interested in gender studies and discussions,
- Have completed at least the first two years of their undergraduate education, and
- Be able to regularly participate in studies online or face-to-face for 20 working days.
The studies to be carried out during the internship process are as follows:
1. The Study of Research and Compilation of Different Countries’ Legal Regulations on the Subject of the Surname of Women
- For this study, it will be preferable to be a law student or graduate, have an excellent command of English, and know one more language.
2. The Study of Representations of Women's Mobility in the Media
- In this study, discourses on women traveling/women traveling alone in the media will be compiled. For this study, being a Master’s or Ph.D. student will be preferable.
3. The Study of Political Masculinity and Women's Empowerment
- For this study, being a Master’s or Ph.D. student will be preferable.
4. The Study of Examining Practices for Reducing the Impact of Gender in Recruitment Processes
- For this study, having an excellent command of English and preferably German will be preferable.
5. The Study of Gender Based Data Search on Political Science and International Relations or International Relations Departments in Turkey
- For this study, being a Political Science and International Relations or International Relations Master’s or Ph.D. student will be preferable.
The internship will be conducted hybrid (face-to-face or online) with interns residing in Ankara and online with interns outside Ankara. If you want to apply, you can send us your letter of intent explaining why you are interested in the internship at our center, the field of study you want to be involved in (please specify only one study), and your expectations from the internship experience.
