“Towards the 30th Anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action: Shedding Light on Violence Against Women - Causes, Consequences, Solutions”

In collaboration with TED University Center for Gender Studies, UN Women, SDG5 Network, and Ankara City Council Youth Assembly, an event titled “Towards the 30th Anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action: Shedding Light on Violence Against Women - Causes, Consequences, Solutions” will be held. The event will begin with a panel discussing the causes and consequences of violence against women within the framework of the Beijing Declaration (Beijing +30). Following the panel, participating students will engage in group work to develop solutions to violence against women, based on the thematic areas of Beijing +30. The solutions are scheduled to be presented as Youth Declaration on December 10, Human Rights Day.
